UPDATE Friday, June 29, 20077:30 PM  If you look far enough, it seems as though most people have at least one kind of quirk.  Maybe some of the people here disagree with what I just said, but I know it's true for me.  Let me give you an example.  I am not always good when it comes to remembering names and matching them with faces.  But, working with numbers is different.  I can remember all sorts of things dealing with numbers; street addresses, license plate numbers, telephone numbers, etc. There are times when I even spend part of the day playing with numbers in my mind.So on any given day, someone can ask me how many friends I have here and I will be able to tell the exact number.  At least that was the way it was before I went to see my psych doctor today.  When I came online this evening I noticed that the number of friends I have had decreased by one.  Now that's not a big deal, but it was a bit surprising.  So I looked around to see if that person was still a member of this site, and found out that she was still here.  That led me to ask myself why I had been dropped as that person's friend.Friends come and friends go even on this website. The fact that a person no longer wants to be my friend is not earth-shattering.  But what bothers me the most is that the person in question did not have the courtesy of saying something directly to me before taking action. It seems as though every time I trust a woman, sooner or later she turns on me without giving me a reason.  I always say it serves me right for taking someone into my trust.  I also swear that I have learned my lesson, and I will never trust a woman again. But, for whatever reason, I never do seem to learn -- I always wind up trusting someone else one more time.

JinK I\'m sorry you feel disappointed, but remember all of here have really bad days and aren\'t able to keep coming here. So please don\'t give up on us womans.
My quirk is remembering faces, especially in a movie, and then remembering where I saw them before. Makes my family batty. :)

You just never know why people do stuff that they do. Don\'t automatically assume that it was because she no longer likes you that she removed you as a friend. Maybe she is wresting with issues and can\'t handle your profound wisdom. You just never know. I for one am back after a week\'s absence and I had quite a week reading and thinking about my \"experiment\" where I was making decisions based on what a selfish person would do. It had mixed results which I will report in my journal in a few days when I get a day off work. Gotta go attend to my garden and my cats now! Good to be back and to see that YOU are still here.

Jim, that\'s silly. :) People do things for all kinds of reasons. I see that it has nothing to do with us. It has everything to do with them. You have lots of support. If she\'s not able to be a support, then it\'s better that she go rather than burden you. :-p A man surrounded by women who love him and he\'s fussing about one. Silly goose! You need a tickle session. ;)
