12:10 PM

Last I went to bed a little earlier than usual -- 8:15.  My caregiver came earlier than that  smiley-frown.gif , but I managed to stall around a while. He always starts out keeping his promise to come later, but I know that eventually he will break his word.  I am getting tired of his "game"  but have not decided what to do about it -- if anything.

I watched TV in bed for a while -- until I decided there was nothing worth watching.  smiley-frown.gif Then I turned off the TV and went to sleep quickly.  I did not wake up until 6:30 AM, which is good for me.  Even so, after being up for just half an hour I became tired enough to take a two hour nap.  I still do not feel refreshed, but that may have something to do with the painkiller I took.

My conscience finally got to me this morning, and I decided to pay those bills I had been putting off most of the month.  The money had just been sitting in the bank, but I never felt like spending it on bills.  smiley-money-mouth.gif

I called the pharmacy this morning to get two prescriptions refilled.  They tried telling me that one of them did not have any refills left.  I knew that was not the case and said so.  The woman I was talking with finally said that it had been on hold.  I asked to have the medicine mailed to me and she said she would send it through regular mail.  I told her it would not arrive here in time because I only had one pill left.  She said she would have to talk to someone else in the pharmacy that could make a decision on what to do.

I have been waiting most of the morning for a nurse to come see me.  With my luck, I will still be waiting at the end of the day.  She sees me every week, so I wish she would set a definite time.  That way if I wanted to go out and do something, I would not have to sit here waiting on her forever.

Good luck -- Jim I wish all these people would just do their jobs.
