Today I find myself "pacing" back-and-forth waiting on a phone call that I know is going to come, but as to exactly when it will come, I do not know. This is where the patience enters the picture. A social worker is trying to wade through all the governmental and bureaucratic red tape that is involved when it comes to selecting a prescription drug plan. Since the Sierra Prescription Drug Plan will no longer cover all of my medications, it looks as though I am going to have to find another plan that will. The more time that passes is equaled by the amount of patience that I am losing. Since I did not have all that much patience to begin with, I have very little left. The longer I wait the more hair I want to pull out, and believe me there is not that much to begin with. If this drags out much longer, I am going to be bald in no time! I am probably somewhat grumpier today than usual, primarily because I did not get as much sleep last night as I would have liked. Sleep has been evading me for a couple of weeks, and I am beginning to feel as if I am an owl! Hoot! Hoot! Hoot! My right foot is feeling better today, although I am still having some pain from it. I am not wearing the orthopedic shoe that I got from the doctor's office. The fastener on the shoe closed right on top of the foot where the pain was located. So today, I am slowly moving around the apartment while trying not to slam into another wall and injuring my foot all over again!
