UPDATE Tuesday, June 26, 2007 4:30 PM   This has been a very good day -- and a very productive one!  The trip to see my doctor turned out very well.  More x-rays were taken of my foot, and the results were very encouraging.  The dislocation does not seem quite as bad as they had originally thought, and the other two toes that were "damaged" may have been injured at another time.  This splint has been removed, and it was replaced by an orthopedic shoe, which will be used for just a few days.   It is beginning to look like there is a solution for the problem with my medications.  A social worker thinks I can just switch to another prescription drug plan, which will cover the cost of the medicine.  That almost sounds too easy, and too good, to be true.  However, if that is the way it is -- I will take it. My doctor also agreed to give me an increase in medicine for my anxiety attacks.    He also believes that the reason my therapist will not continue working with me is because of something having to do with her, rather than with me.  He is going to try talking with her at least one more time to try and ascertain the truth to the story.   When I asked him about the new medication the psychiatrist wanted me to take, he told me not to take that period.  I told him the psychiatrist had said I could eat anything I wanted with that medication, but my doctor says I would have to give up all my other medication for two weeks, as well as to stop eating certain foods as long as I was on the new medicine.  I have always said the psychiatrist is a quack, and now I am more certain of that than ever!  I told my doctor that I was going to try and find a new psychiatrist.  He seemed to think that might be a good idea.   Now that my life seems to be headed in the right direction again, I am hopeful that I will regain the ability to sleep well.

Fabulous!

Yeah, therapists, like any other human being, can be totally jacked. I told you about the one therapist who refused to work with me when I my first crisis, right? The woman accused me of BPD... I think she has a touch of it, personally. She lied to my case manager, his boss and the whole RBHA (regional behavioral health association). She sent one progress note that was a lie as well. I try to take what I can from each experience. Still, it can make one jumpy about human beings in general.

I\'m glad my psychiatrist is great. His notes are well-balanced and accurate in general. My case manager is great. I have yet to read her notes, though. I dunno. I\'m just glad we both have something positive to counteract. You listen to that psychologist! I\'m certain you can find a better therapist. Trial and error, right! ;)

Get some wonderful sleep tonight!!! :-)
