12:30 PM

This has not been the best morning I have ever had.  I am noticing my depression more today, although I cannot think of any reason why I should.  Other than my usual frustrations, not much is really happening.

I talked to some people at another apartment complex yesterday, but it is not going to work out for me.  Everything on the inside seems fine and workable, but the management will not accept a Section 8 voucher that I need to use as part of my rent. smiley-frown.gif I have e-mailed an apartment locator in order to see if that company would help me find a new place.  As of today, I have not heard anything, but it still may be a bit early to get a response.

I did not sleep too well last night, so I'm going around with my eyes half open and have shut.  I'm having a pretty good amount of pain today, which is the result of an accident I had about three years ago.  At that time, I was going down the sidewalk when the right side of my wheelchair fell off the sidewalk, making my wheelchair turn over on top of me and causing a lot of pain in my right side.  I managed to catch a bus to the hospital where they took several x-rays and a couple of CAT scans.  The result of all this showed that I had a broken rib and a fractured clavicle in the right shoulder.  So, three years later, I am still having a great deal of pain now and then-- mostly in my neck.  This is one of those weekends when I am feeling it again. smiley-frown.gif

While I've been writing this journal entry, I received a phone call from my sister advising me that our sister-in-law is going to have a five-hour operation on Thursday for possible breast cancer.  She has not been my favorite person in the world, but I do not wish her any bad luck.
