UPDATEThursday, June 14, 20071:35 PM So far, this has been a wasted and time-consuming day.  Things did not go well at the mental health clinic.  I requested to see one nurse, and had to see another.  The explanation I received was that the one I saw was familiar with my case and had done most of the work trying to get more medication for me.  I talked with her for about an hour while she reviewed my case, and made long-distance calls on my behalf.  Nothing worked. It looks as though sometime next week I am going to have to try using a 24-hour patch each day.  If I have a bad reaction to  it and wind up in the ER, I am supposed to have the hospital send the clinic a fax documenting what was wrong with me and what was done about it.  I will be pleasantly surprised if I do not have an allergic reaction and go to the ER.  I think my sister is going to come over and spend part of the first day with me.  In that way, if I should pass out, she will be there to call the paramedics. After I was finished at the clinic, I had to wait two hours for my transportation to show up.  I became somewhat upset at that.  On the other hand, I had some things in common with my driver, which made conversation very easy and interesting. All in all, I feel disappointed and discouraged.
