I returned from the mental health clinic a short while ago.  Everything went pretty much as I thought it would.  Seeing as how that is the case, I might as well become a psychic and get paid for all of my efforts.

Things seemed to be going pretty well until I got the nurses station.  I was the only one there, so I thought I was doing pretty good and would not have to wait behind a long line of people.  I signed myself in and settled back for a short wait -- or at least that's what I was thinking.  I also learned, that sometimes it pays not to think at all.

My therapist had been the one who told me to go there between 12 and 1 PM. She also said that I did not need an appointment.  She was part right and part wrong. I did not need to have an appointment.  However, all the nurses go to lunch at noon.  Of course, not knowing all this, I sat in an empty room for about half an hour waiting for a nurse to show up when one never did.

After waiting half an hour, I decided to call it a day since I knew that my ride would be there shortly.  But by the time I got down to the reception desk, my transportation had already arrived, and the driver was wandering around looking for me.  Since he was about 20 minutes early, I was a little upset with him.  I kind of hoped all of his tires would go flat or he would run out of gas.  Of course, with my luck, none of that happened.

I have decided to return there again tomorrow morning and give it another try, since I can be very determined once I've made up my mind to do so.  I can be just as hardheaded as anyone else.

I've made arrangements to be there by 10 AM.  This time my transportation will not pick me up to come home until 12:15 PM.  That should give them enough time to figure out what type of damage they can do to me.

The more I think about President Bush and his national healthcare program, the angrier I get.  I did not vote for him in the last election, and I am glad he cannot run in the next one!
