Saturday, June 9, 2007 8 AM   My apartment complex has been overrun by a bunch of preschool age thugs! Let me make it clear, I am not talking about just a lot of children, but a lot of mobster-like children.  My sister and her friend -- both in their 70s -- came to see me yesterday.  One of these little thugs walked up to my sister's friend and said, “Get out of my way old man.”  Another one, about three years old or less, went to my sister and yelled, “What are you looking at!” These kids congregate outside my apartment almost all day long.  Continuous yelling, screaming, and shouting can be heard throughout the whole day.  It is bad enough to make me take off my hearing aids so that I cannot hear them. Either the management here is going to have to do something, or I will.  It has gotten to the point where if something is not done -- and done fairly soon -- I intend to move to another location.  I cannot, and will not, put up with this all summer!  A Daily Thought:   “The great thing in this world is not so much where we are, but in what direction we are moving.” -Oliver Wendell Holmes

I know EXACTLY how you feel. The street behind us seems to be a magnet for parents who don\'t teach their children the concept of private property, no trespassing, and worst, wildlife respect. I dread summer, because of the \"JUVENILE DELINQUENTS R US\" club that hangs around the stream, tormenting the wildlife. But, the police know about them and come quickly when we call if they aren\'t otherwheres scraping an accident off the road. Thank goodness August isn\'t really that far away.

Our police are too busy catching speeders -- especially the ones who go ten miles per hour instead of five!
