Wednesday, June 6, 2007 6:25 AM Yesterday afternoon turned out to be good. My hearing aids were adjusted and now I do not have all that feedback coming through my head. The squealing noises are finally gone. I need to go back in two weeks for another follow-up. I did not see my brother yesterday. I do not even know if he got into town -- not that it really matters a whole lot to me. We really have some important problems to deal with. All in all, I think I have done about as much as I can to bring us together. If anything is going to happen, he is going to have to make the next move. This afternoon I am going to see my therapist. I have not seen her in three weeks. After thinking everything over, I think I can now accept the fact that I will not be seeing her much longer. I have somehow managed to get rid of the anger that I had. I still have some serious problems to be worked through, so I am going to have to find a new therapist one way or the other. However, I no longer feel an urgent need to do this right away. Although I feel more depressed than usual, I do not think that I will do anything to harm myself. A Daily Thought: “There is no way around it. You absolutely must have fun. Without fun, there is no enthusiasm. Without enthusiasm, there is no energy. Without energy, there are only shades of gray.” -Doug Hall
