UPDATE Friday, June 1, 2007 7:10 PM   My mood has gone down today.  I felt good when I got up this morning, but everything has been going steadily downhill. I had intended on calling my brother and congratulating him on retiring today.  The way I feel and now, I just cannot bring myself to do it.  We don't get along that well, so why should I be hypocritical and pretend that we do? I called my sister at 9:30 this morning to tell her that the new microwave oven did not work.  She was busy, so I got her boyfriend instead.  How lucky can I get?  He promised to have her call me back.  When my sister finally called -- 2 hours later -- she said that he had told her I had said my call was urgent.  I told her that was not the case.  What I did not tell her, but what I thought, was why it took her two hours to return my call if she thought it was so urgent!  I told her about the microwave, and she practically blew up.  She said we must have done something wrong.  I said that was not the case.  She said she had a full week next week, and did not know when she would be able to come over here and get it.  Then she told me to make sure I had the receipt ready for her.  She said she gave it to me with some change and put it all in one envelope.  I remember getting my money, but not the receipt.  It took me almost an hour of looking, but I finally found it. The pharmacy at my mental health clinic got my medicine screwed up again.  They were supposed to have mailed it and I should have gotten it yesterday, but did not.  When I called the pharmacy I was told that some of the medications were not due to be refilled yet.  I told them that at least one of them needed to be refilled because I would be out of it by Monday.  They promised to put it in the mail today. I see my home health care nurse once every week so that she can give me a treatment for my bladder infection.  While we were going through the standard examination, we both noticed that my blood pressure was much higher than it has been before now.  I told her that my antidepressant could not be refilled because the insurance companies refuse to pay for it.  I am supposed to try a new one using a MAO patch once a day.  I am not too keen on this idea. Whenever my life seems to be taking a turn for the better, it seems as though something always goes wrong.  This is really starting to bother me a lot.  I do not know how much longer I can put up with it.  I need some help but do not know where to turn.
