I finally got my medication from the mental health clinic this morning. When I went into the nursing office, someone I knew was stationed at the main desk. When she heard that I had been without medication for 10 days, she had a fit. She said there was no excuse for that.

In less than five minutes, she said she wanted to go down to the pharmacy with me and see if they had it there. We went to the pharmacy and she asked about my medicines. They were produced in less than three minutes.

After I paid for the medicine, this nurse asked me if I would tell her exactly what had occurred during the past 10 days. We went to a corner of the room and I told her the whole story. I told her what days I had made the phone calls, what departments I called and the responses I got from each of them, and whether or not the people I talked to had followed up on their promises. By the time I was finished, this nurse was really steamed up! She promised that she was going to get to the bottom of it.

I was also asked if I had made a special trip to the clinic just to get the medicine taken care of. I said yes I had. She was not happy about that either. I suspect that before the day is over there will be a number of other people who will not be too happy either. However, that is their fault -- not mine!
