It's a bright sunny day this morning. The temperatures are going to be in the 70s and 80s, which is about where I like it. There is no rain in sight, so it should be a very beautiful day.

I would like to stay home, read a good book, and watch some videos. However, it doesn't look like I'm going to be able to do that. My brother has tried to arrange for some type of family get together, so I am headed to Boulder for a family get-together. It will take me about 45 minutes to get there but it's not bad drive.

I like being with my sister and her children, but my brother and his family are a different matter. It's been about nine months since I've seen one of his daughters and her family and nearly two years since I've seen the other daughter and her family. They are pretty much like strangers and I don't really want to get together with them since it will make me somewhat uncomfortable. But it doesn't look like I'm going to have any choice about this so I better just grin and bear it.
