10:15 AM
I don't usually write a second journal entry at this time of day, but something happened this morning which I feel strongly about. Each member of DS has a Hug Book, which is used by other members to pass along greetings, encouragement, love and support. This morning my book contained an unexpected and unwanted personal attack on me.
There is a new so-called human being residing in DS today who had the gall to send me a hug along with the following message:
tootired54 (9:45 am)
Jimk K. You don't really need a hug you need a kick in the arse to get you out of your duldrums? Your mother past away 13 years ago and you are still mourning her man,,,get over it already? My son who has Muscular Dystrophy and move nothing but his hands and fingers has got more get up and go than you do! If you volunteer to help someone in need and take your mind of yourself you will feel much better...now get with the program man and make life good for yourself and someone else. I welcome your reply.
His profile says,54 years old, wife with cancer, son with Muscular Dystrophy, tired, burnedout, discougaged, looking for an email pal to share in misery
and offer inspiration and support online only, consider myself Christian, but feel God has looked the other way when I ask for help.
This person has no avatar and does not belong to even one community. He obviously does not know what this community is all about: love, encouragement, and support for one another.
I don't usually respond to someone who is as mentally incapacitated as this person may be, however, I'm going to make an exception in his case. We've never met each other. We've never exchanged messages with each other. I've never seen his profile until today. I doubt that he has ever seen my profile until today. Yet for some reason he feels he has the right to criticize me -- a complete stranger to him -- in a public forum!
If he is a care provider for his wife and son, and he has this type of attitude with them, then I fear for their safety and well-being. I would sincerely hope that his home situation be closely scrutinized by social services.
If he is a true Christian, why would he possibly feel that God had looked the other way when he asked for help? If that is, indeed, what happened, wouldn't it be possible that God did this because He considered tootired54 beyond redemption? I'm not saying that is the case, but only a strong possibility.

All i can say is WOW!-am i ever shocked- and i agree with you whole heartedly-DO NO LET IT RUIN YOUR DAY-I strongly think the supervisors of DS should be aware of the matter. What else has been written to someone else? What other damage has been done? We are here to encourage one another and help, not tear down.
It was uncalled for, and the metaphysical lineage in me wishes many pox on him... (Note: I am willng to endure The Law of Three here for you dude...)
Don\'t sweat it Jim. There are some who can\'t see past their own anger and therefore it falls onto the shoulders of others. You know in your heart that you are a compassionate, loving man and we here at DS love you to bits. Disregard the angry hugs or posts you receive and concentrate on those with positive intentions. (((hugs)))
Oh...P.S.... Be careful where you stick that cold nose! LOLOL
My sincere thanks go out to everyone who gave me their positive support. If this person intended to ruin my day, he blew it! tootired54 must be deadtired54 by now. lol
i hope the day never comes when i don\'t remember to mourn for those I love who I have lost. For when that day comes then I must have lost my heart then as well.
I\'m sorry that he is in such a bad place that he feels a need to be jerk. He has joined and dropped several communities.
In the spirit of what this site is about, I publicly withdraw my pox curse. I hope he is able to seek professional medical help for himself, while he has a choice, before it\'s forced on him and he would then no longer be able to care for his family.
Boy I\'m more then a little shocked. I call these people ME. Mentally Entitled to do great harm to others and think they are correct in there action. Hold on to a lot of good people here. They have helped me alot.
First of all this gentleman, if you would even call him that, needs to learn sentence structure. He sets up his sentences in which you would expect to end with a period or exclamation point, but instead he ends it with ?\'s. Secondly, he obviously doesn\'t understand the hardship of losing a loved one such as your very own mother. His attitude towards others is unarguably blunt and unacceptable. Advise him to seek therapy because it seems to me that he carries a lot of anger and just lets it out on whoever whenever he wants to. Cant seem to see this guy as being a Christian.
