After some consideration, although not too much, I decided that my mood should stay the same -- bad. That's not really too bad since it could've been changed to awful. But I'll try to improve it today.

My sister called yesterday afternoon to tell me she was bringing lunch over, and gave me a choice of what I wanted. In addition to lunch, she brought me some strawberry shortcake, a meal of spareribs, and books and videos.

We got along fairly well except for a couple of disagreements concerning my counseling and my refusal to move to a different location. I can't really discuss anything about my talks with my therapist because my sister wants me to tell my therapist how the sessions should be run. I don't feel I can do that. She also wants me to move closer to where she lives, but I'm happy living here. I need to keep reminding myself that I only have to please myself -- not others!

The weather has turned very nice with temperatures in the 70s and 80s. I am hopeful that I will have the time, and inclination, to go somewhere tomorrow. I have no place special in mind, but it's just the idea of getting out and going somewhere that makes me hopeful of improving my mood.

A Daily Thought:

If you want to be respected by others, the great thing is to respect yourself.

I believe in the saying that, \"Laughter is the best medicine\". It\'s a little hard for me to find enough of it these days though.

As for the strawberry shortcake, it was delicious -- especially the whipped cream on top! LOL
