Yesterday my nurse and physical therapist came visiting. Both oaf them got angry because my caregiver was supposed to be here last night and prepare dinner for me. Instead of doing that, he made me a small sandwich well before noon. That didn't go over too well with them. Oh yeah, he also left a banana and some potato chips.
After leaving here, my nurse called her office and reported everything to the manager of her office, and then she, in turn, called my caregiver and complained to him. By the time he came to put me to bed, he was so angry that he started complaining to me, then said he would complain directly to my nurse today.
If all that wasn't bad enough, I somehow managed to get part of my wheelchair caught on a five-foot table which held my computer printer, books, papers, etc. When I tried moving my chair, the table overturned, knocking everything to the floor.
By then I was angry at everything and everybody. My caregiver picked everything up, but was too lazy to help get the books and papers organized. That might of taken all of 10 minutes! Oh, well!
This morning I'm going to the hospital for an ultrasound to see whether or not I have a blood clot. I think the test will be negative, but at least I'll have a few hours of peace away from this disaster area!

BABYLON 5!? I loved G\'Kar... May Andreas rest...
That really irritates me about your caregiver!!
One of my husbands best friends has MD and has lost all ability to walk and most of the use of his arms and such. Mike still loves to go out and fish and hunt, Jeff is usually the one that takes him. But it never ceases to amaze me how people will either borrow his boat whatever and bring it back in poor shape or if he asks them to do something they do it soo half assed that they may as well not done it at all!
Im so sorry Jim! I hope you get a better one SOON~
Love ya,
Mary
I HOPE YOUR TEST GOES WELL FOR YOU AND THAT YOU ENJOY YOUR DAY- EVEN IF YOU ARE GOING TO THE HOSPITAL FOR A TEST. I AM SORRY WHAT HAPPENED . I WOULD HELP- IF WE LIVED CLOSER. HOPE YOUR DAY IS BETTER, AND YOUR CAREGIVERS- MORE DEPENDABLE AND CARING.
Well, it\'s 12:55 P.M. and I\'ve just returned from the hospital. (It\'s amazing they are there compared to the help I\'m putting up with now.) The lab technician said there was a cloudy area on my left leg, but she didn\'t think it was anything. My doctor\'s nurse called with the official results, but I wasn\'t home yet, so we are playing a game of telephone tag.
