Here we are, Friday at long last. What a week this has been. One good thing is that it's almost over.
Yesterday I had a physical therapist come work with me. That helped somewhat. She worked on the muscles I can't tend to myself, and then gave my neck and shoulders a massage to relieve some pain.
A nurse will be here later this morning to check out a few things. I've begun having some really bad pain in my right knee, as well as the knee getting hot. Not sure what that's all about, but will keep a watch on it.
My therapist suggested I take some pain medicine that I use on my neck and back. I (stupidly) asked if it would on my knee as well. She said of course, then asked if I thought they made some pain medications for one part of the body, and other medications for other parts. Well, that's exactly what I thought. Duh!
Today or tomorrow I will talk with my favorite niece about what she thinks I should do regarding changing home healthcare agencies. I'll bet anything she tells me to make a change.
Yesterday was my brother's birthday. I called him, and we talked three or four minutes before he said he couldn't hear me, so we ended our conversation. I know we haven't always gotten along over the years, but I don't know why he wasn't honest enough to just say he didn't want to talk with me. Well, that sure lifted my depression - not!

do they know why you\'re knee is getting hot? i have the same problem with my knees feeling cold, like they\'re full of ice cold water, but no one can figure out what it is, so it can\'t be treated.
It only started this week, and I haven\'t had a chance to discuss it with my doctor yet. If I learn anything useful, I\'ll let you know.
I hope they can find out what it is fast and give you somthing for it. I sure hope you start feeling better, I am sorry to hear about your brother, we may get to choose our friends but not our family!
