Yesterday was one of contradictions. First, I learned that one of my cousins had died. Although I had not seen her in many years, I really liked her, and truly mourn her passing.
My emotions changed to ones of happiness in the afternoon when I went to a birthday party for a niece who is now two. I'm not comfortable around children, but this girl has gotten to my heart.
The family also had dinner together. It was very nice and fun as well. The food was great - lasagna - one of my favorites! I made a pig of myself by having seconds, then had some pineapple cake, and seconds on it too.
This will be a busy week for me as I have a medical appointment each day. I'll probably be dead tired by Saturday.

Im sorry to hear about your cousin. Death of loved ones is tough, if you have seen them recently or not. I am glad that you had fun at the party. I make a pretty darn mean lasagna myself. :} Its one of my favs too!
Funny that I was not comfortable with children either, and God led me to do daycare?!
Take care of yourself so you dont get sick or anything with all you have going this week. Dr. offices always seem to have the germs!!
