I am realy surprised at how much the hormones are fluctuating and causing problems.......these are new and different symptoms. I'm having to deal with some crying spells. It's really okay, it just catches me off guard and it's so strange because it can come from no where........and then there's the wierd mood swings and sensitivities like I had when I was a teenager. Like for instance tonight when the dinner didn't turn out as planned-I almost started CRYING-LOL, LOL, LOL,--that's about all I can do. I'm just trying to take one day at a time. But from day to day I don't know what symptom I'll have-when I have the depression-I don't feel like going anywhere-when I have the crying spells-I don't feel like going anywhere-when I have the fatique-I don't feel like going anywhere. But God has blessed me this week with of course DS friends, but also a friend and my two sisters and Mom. I have been able to talk to them on the phone and it helps so much. I will see my gyno in two weeks. I think I will be trying low-dose birth control pills. I'm hoping and praying they will help with the fluctuations. It's hard to try new treatments. You just get your hopes up again. I just have not had one that worked longer than three or four months. And I've been looking for 18 years............hope you all have a nice weekend.Love,Cindy

Cindy, what you are describing is pretty much how I have been since August of last year until this summer. I definitely feel more stable now. I just feel confident that you will find a treatment that will at least take the edge off this transition. If I go on low dose bc pills, I\'m considering asking my gyn if I can take them continuously -- that way even fewer fluctuations, LOL
I am sorry that you are having these weird symptoms. I hope the Dr can help. God is good and has blessed me with friends like you and for that I am thankful.LYL Tonya
Well if whatever you try this time only works for so long, it\'s because the hormones shifted again. Whatever remedy for them can take some tweaking and adjusting. My BHRT didn\'t work as well this time around but it wasn\'t off enough for me to bother getting it changed. Don\'t give up and impress on your doc that it\'s not just your quality of life but your ability to FUNCTION as a human being. YOU HAVE TO BE ABLE TO DO STUFF! Weeble hugs.
Yes, I have had similar symptoms; I use several hormone creams, as well as a supplement called DIM(diindolylmethane) which turns bad estrogen into good estrogen. As long as you do not have thyroid problems, you can accomplish the same thing eating cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, etc. These symptoms suck; I HATE crying over TV shows!
I do hope that you figure out something to work for you! It has to be terrible being so moody and not being able to do anything about it. I know when I had the bad PMS for a few months I KNEW I was hormonal but I just couldn\'t turn it off. I agree with Weebs, make sure the doc understands that this is serious for you. Hugs and love to you!
Praying for ya , Cindy! I know things will get better!
I\'m right there with ya girlfriend. I seem to have to carry kleenex wherever I go lately. I\'ll be your sniffle partner!
Love and hugs to you.
