I need to get up and get off of DS and go to Curves. ......... Speaking of Curves, I am still enjoying it, but am surprised at how much can get in the way of working out three times a week. I have not been there consistently 3 times a week, so when I do, I should see more results. Also, I am doing a power lap--Yes, there I am, working as fast as this middle-aged body will take me, huffing and puffing, puffing and huffing.... Sometimes I imagine I'm an athlete in training ( I have a huge imagination) LOL--I can get some funny looks from the other ladies there because I'm working out so hard. Could they be jealous??? ......It makes me feel good.....well, I should mention that they are ladies between the ages of 65 and 75, BUT!!!!I feel better and I know changes will come. ......I saw where I had written on the calendar for the end of this month(the goal I wrote when I joined almost 3 months ago) a 7 lb weight loss goal--LOL......little did I know I would GAIN inches-not lose a pound. But I'm okay with it now, because my family said they can tell things have toned up and then again I have gained muscle mass each month!Love to all and thanks for listening-You're the Best!

Yes, muscle WEIGHS more than fat. So don\'t pay attention to the scale for awhile. Now, go eat some veggies and fruit, then have a SMALLER sundae...
Weeblies Hugs
Yay!!! Sounds like you are on the right track with the right attitude!! Maggots!!! Eeewww...I could tell you stories that would make your eyelashes curl!! With the right conditions maggots and sheep go hand in hand, yuck!!! Hugs and love to you!
They\'re definitely right: muscle DOES weigh more than fat. Therefore, stay off the scale because you WILL weigh more.
Just measure the inches you WILL lose.
Would you do me a favor & think about me while you\'re working out so that I can benefit from it, too?
As for the elderly ladies, they look at you wishing they could still do that!!
I watch the elderly exercise & wish I could still do that but I\'m too lazy.
Good for you! Keep at it!
Good for you now get to curves!!lol You are doing so well, muscle woman. LYL Tonya
Although I\'ve been walking and riding, I\'m still (stupidly) surprised at how out of shape I am. I would be one of those ladies (middle-aged though) staring in jealousy at your energy. You go!
