Hope everyone is doing great! I've missed being on DS--not sure where the time went except that we had a family get-together for the 4th and I'm dealing with some fatique I haven't had in a while.  Last time I mentioned I was going to a christian counselor to discuss the issues that my husband and I are facing. She mentioned that I need to see that there are underlying issues to his wanting to sell the house, "cash-out", etc.  But this is the catch--ha!ha!--It's not my job to try to mindread or tell him what I think his issues are.  He has to find these things out for himself.....ho hum, what will I do??? I thought that was my job LOL- I'm not really that bad, but I did get too angry during one of our discussions and really just said some things in the wrong way and shouldn't have said some things at all. No really, this whole idea that his issues are his is something really freeing to me.  Of course I know that I have a voice in major decisions, it's not that--it's that I can try to learn not to just get so rattled and react so strongly to him when he's upset.  This is going to take self-control on my part and help from God, too--especially when I'm dealing with my own emotional junk from my PMDD.Well, I'll get the first test of this tonight.  He is meeting with some home office guys to discuss changes--there might even be a discussion of commission change. Thanks for listening!Love,Cindy

Praying that the meeting goes well and brings you both some good things to think about! It is hard to not let hubby\'s \'issues\' and moods rub off and become our own. I struggle with that all the time and fail a good deal of the time. Glad to hear from you again. Keep up all the good work!! Hugs and love to you.

Sorry to hear about your fatigue. This is the 2nd day in a row I can hardly move because of exhaustion for no real reason.
How do you like your new doc?
Please keep us up to date on the goings on about the meeting with the home office guys.
Love ~ Cathy

I was laughing as I read your post today (not at you, but at myself) because I had a moment of revelation at one point in my marriage that it wasn\'t my job to \"fix\" or change or do anything for my husband\'s psychological benefit (read: really for my benefit since I needed him to be on an even keel). Life has been so much better for me since I stopped trying to change him! I don\'t waste the energy and my husband doesn\'t wear himself out resisting me (and even has begun looking at some of his own baggage). You\'re right -- it takes a lot of trust in God to let go of how your partner might be changing. I do better some times than others, but it\'s worked out o.k. so far! I\'m thinking of you and keeping you in my prayers

I can understand SOMEWHAT what you are going through, Cindy. I have control issues myself. Ive had to learn to bit my tongue HARD to let him be his own man. After all, I feel in love with that man.
