Good Morning!Things have settled down here since I last wrote that my husband wanted to take a leave of absence. Thank you all for your comments and I believe you were right, it was that we had such a great time on our vacation and that he had to come back to a job he doesn't like. So he said he has had a attitude adjustment and he really seems like he has.But I know another issue that was going on was why I reacted so strongly to it all. I know I was in my PMDD phase. But I just really overacted to it and became very anxious. I think it was a combination of the PMDD, my desire for his happiness, and also selfishness. It was almost like HE had the PMDD. You know I have heard of the male menopause. But the point is, there's only room in the house for one out-of-control person. And I just think there's some kind of issue I need to deal with because I was really considering putting our house up for sale. (not going to Mexico)....anyway, just trying to figure it all out. Hope you all have a good day!Love, Cindy

Cindy,
Have faith, it will all come out ok.
Well, Im glad the dust settled on that a bit... I\'ve always been a bit of a nomad, prior to having a family that is... I sometimes find the settling part difficult as I am more of a pioneer, though I do value having \"roots\". Anyway, my point is what you are talking about all sounds fairly normal and to be expected to me!! I suppose it might be a shock to you if you\'ve never felt that way before...
Also, I do believe men have some kind of menopause, obviously they get off an awful lot lighter than we do, but I reckon they have their own stuff to deal with at this age.
Anyway, I was thinking about you and I hope you\'re not worrying too much about these changes... Its all going to be ok... Hx
LOL! There\'s only room for one out-of-control person in this house!! That\'s a great way to look at it! I hope this leads to some real soul searching and perspective for you both. Thank you so much for all the encouragement, you are a true gem. Many hugs and much love to you.
aww sweetie there is only one PMDD at a time tell him...i hope he stays at his job and it all works out for you sweetie...i have been praying for you faitifully smile...so hopefully my prayers are helping..take care sweetie and things will all work out..love you terri
One at a time -- that\'s good! I wonder if I can pull the \"I had it first card\" with my neurotic husband? Seriously, I understand that feeling, like I have so much to deal with and I just can\'t take care of anybody else\'s sh*t, thank you very much. I\'ve done the soul searching too -- ultimately I think it probably evens out. Hopefully it all doesn\'t hit the fan at the same time (when it does, it ain\'t pretty!). I\'ve been working especially to make space for my husband\'s mid-life issue too. I don\'t think it\'s really \"menopause\" -- well they would have to have menses, right? -- but I know they go through the same kinds of reevaluations and soul searching that we do, although it\'s specific to their gender and situation of course. Sounds like you both are doing the important work that has to be done at this time of life.
