PLEEEEEASSSSSSSSEE!!!!! I know I'm a whiner and sometimes I fear your rejection. Because of my hormonal issues, I can really seem like a big complainer, but my condition is partially to blame. I do have a responsibility, the nature of the condition is that it affects me emotionally and distorts my thoughts. Maybe I'm just paranoid, but I really do have more complaints than most of you. It's really hard to understand PMDD unless you've experienced it. It helps me to just be able to express this to you--I hope you will give me the benefit of the doubt.

Okay, some of you might remember that I joined Curves about a month ago. I have enjoyed it and find it to be a fun place to workout. Well, today was measurement day. I HAVE GAINED INCHES!!!!LOL (not really--cusssing)Yep, only Cindy could gain 1 1/2 in my STOMACH!!!!!!! THIS IS DRIVING ME NUTS!!!! Yes, it's true that some weeks I haven't been there for three workouts---BUT GAINING 1 1/2 INCHES????????????Help, this is driving me nuts.

It just seems that no matter what I try, for some reason God has allowed me to face frustrations.Anti-depressants only worked for a short length of time for me, even though I tried most all of them, at one time or another. The treatments for PMS-bioidentical progesterone did not work for me,...but, this, not getting results from exercise.....I'M FULL-FLEDGED DISCOURAGED!!!!

Thanks for listening,

Ditto to Weeb\'s comments. Could be muscle or water weight gain (bloat) depending on the time of your cycle or the tape measure could have been in a slightly different place this time than last. OR a combination of any of those things SO what I\'m saying is NO FREAKING OUT....that\'s my job! We love to be here for you...so whine away!!! Much luv and many hugs to you!!

Hey wait a minute -- I don\'t think anyone here has a corner on the market of complaints! DH hasn\'t really ticked me off lately or you all would have had an earful by now! Ditto Karen -- I know my thighs got bigger when I started walking again and are just now starting to actually get smaller in size. And anyway, it\'s just a number -- why let it ruin the good exercise and company you are getting at Curves?

Hang in there. The exercise will definitely pay off if you stick with it. The muscle actually pushes the fat out sometimes before it has shrunk down enough to notice. You are doing the right stuff for your body and mind. We all wish for instant gratification--me especially!

Not only muscle, as Karen mentioned, but gravity! OOOH how I HATE gravity!!! When I have to stuff my boobs in my pockets, I\'m going on a serious gravity strike! Don\'t give up hope, hun. In time you will see results!

I completely understand your struggle. I too struggle with PMDD, and a weight issue. Seems like every time a take a tiny step forward, I am shoved 3 huge leaps back by my PMDD. I know the saying is muscle weighs more than fat.. maybe that goes for measurements too LOL. Keep your chin up best you can, we are here to help support you.
