Things have improved here with the way I feel emotionally. Just having some physical stuff going on--aches, low energy, etc. I am thankful that the emotional crisis about the empty nest is gone for now. It's interesting that I only really felt that way for two days--I'm not even thinking about it now. So I suspect that it was the hormones that caused the over-reaction. So now they(the hormones) are still causing some problems with the low energy, etc. BUT, there will be an end to all these hormonal ups and downs-when we get over this great big mountain of peri-menopausal mess! Thank you all for just being you and have a wonderful day!

Change is always hard, but menopause does seem to magnify our reactions.

I find that my emotional crises about my son seem to occur in sync, more or less with my cycles. And since I can\'t even guess what a \"cycle\" is anymore it feels just kind of random. I\'m praying actual menopause will be easier than this peri-menopause stuff!
