I'm really going nuts here. I have been trying to follow this plan of eating right and starting to exercise. I am taking all kinds of supplements, spending all kinds of money. Anyway, I must be the town idiot--why do I even hope that anything will help. I'm still having these symptoms and I am spending all this time and money. You know I am following this alternative medicine plan ( seeing a naturopath) because all conventional medicine methods failed me. I mean I am taking all this omega oils, Vit E, flax, all the stuff that is supposed to help women with these hormonal problems. Anyway, this plan is really my only option. I'ts like what I said, I don't think these symptoms will ever go away...hoping when I get thru menopause, maybe there will be some kind of difference.

Anyway, I'm kinda a mess here. I need to get myself together or I will have to cancel my appointment at Curves...yes, sports fans, because I can't seem to get the exercise thing on my own, I decided this morning that I would have to try curves...I can just see myself on their little machines crying and being my hormonal self....doesn't make a good Curves commercial.
Sorry. Hope ya'll are doing okay. Thanks for listening. I really appreciate all the support here. I don't know how I got along without it. Love you lots!

HAHAHAHA...If you were on a Curves commercial crying, I\'d be thinking, \"I can really relate to that one right there!\"
I think it\'s fantastic that you joined Curves. Not only is it healthy, it\'s a very positive thing to do for yourself.

It can sometimes take 6 weeks for the alternative things to start working. Although on Brevail, before my peri got really bad, I noticed a difference right away. Some women don\'t respond to Brevail at all but I did. Everyone\'s different. Try and hang on, the alternative is falling into something slimy...

Hang in there -- If you can get some regular exercise it might actually help. I feel a lot better since I started walking (but I am also taking Effexor for the hot flashes and depression). At least I\'m tired at bedtime and I have more energy during the day. I just started really slow and increased very slowly. I\'m up to 30 mins a day and hope to add more time somehow -- maybe take two walks. If you are as sedentary as I was, ANY movement will be a benefit! So, just walking down the lane or up to the street corner can make a difference.

Good luck with Curves. My mom started going at 62. She had never exercised ever before and she really likes it. In school for psych and counseling we heard over and over that exercise has proven just as good or better than medication for depression. I hope it helps you! Hugs for doing something positive for yourself, you deserve it!!
