Hi, I'm new to the group. I have had awful history of PMDD--I mean awful. Tried all kinds of treatments for about 17 years(I'm really telling the truth) but nothing worked for very long. Sounds depressing!!! Anyway, my periods are getting irregular and I am having alot of crying, some depression, no energy, no motivation. So I was just praying on how I was going to get through tomorrow and I decided to try to find an online support group. I know there are some things I could be doing to help myself. For one, caffeine is a problem to me--off and on. So I just need to cut out coffee. I can do green tea. The problem is I've gotten in a habit of just getting up and sitting. I drink some caffeine and don't eat and it really messes up my blood sugar. So tomorrow I will get up drink green tea for 20 minutes and then make breakfast. I will put my clothes on. I will get up at 9:00.

Hey,
Thanks for sending me that hug! Anti-depressants did not work for me either....well, some of them did but it would only be for two or three months. Those side-effects from them can be worse than the original problem--not saying I wouldn\'t try them again if I thought they\'d work.
I am so sorry about you being a recluse. This winter I am doing that more too. I go out one day a week. Maybe on the weekends a little. The hard part is not wanting to go out or do anything. I was feeling really angry this morning about all the years I\'ve had this.I can understand your angry. I think this will be a good place for us to get support and vent. Take care!
