Happy Easter!
Happy Easter, everyone! God bless you! I hope this past week has been full of happiness and minimal pain for all of you!
I have been talking to a relator, the bank, even called the IRS to ask some questions about what I may qualify for, what debt SHOULD or should NOT be paid off in case this house goes into a short sale. The bank is trying to tell me I don't even qualify for a short sale because I still occupy it and still pay the mortgage, regardless that it's way upside down. Sigh...... I am still trying to find more information. I sent an email to a real estate lawyer about our situation. Hopefully he can have some answers. We've also been packing up some more boxes, going through our stuff, getting rid of things, putting furniture in storage, etc etc etc.... My body hurts.
Yesterday morning I had to get up before the crack of dawn to prepare and go to mom's baptism. So awesome to be baptized this time of year during passion week! I'm so happy for her, she's been waiting for over a year! She was so excited when she got into the water she was was shouting for joy! OUr churches do baptisms in the ocean here, and it was a perfect day because when the sun came up, it was cloudless, and the water was perfectly calm. She's still glowing about it today. lol
After that I was so exhausted when I got home I took a nap for a few hours. Then got up boiled some eggs for dying, and then ran to the super market for few vegetables. Came back, marinated the lamb, dyed the eggs, took the eggs to my church (for their sunrise service the next day), and then Jeff and I went down town to see Bill Cosby's stand-up comedy show. That man had us laughing so much, my stomach hurt.... and then I kept laughing till my back hurt. LOL. Good ol' Bill! lol. We came back around 10:30 pm. I went to bed (after the long process of many meds).
Got up for the later service for Easter!! Yeah I know, I missed the sunrise service, but what can I do? I had to chose between getting up early for mom this one time or getting up early for Easter. Oh well, I can try next year. Anyways.... the service was awesome... we talked about the proof that He has risen, etc. That there were witnesses. My mom came with us and she loved it. :)
I can't wait to cook the lamb later. We will also be harvesting a salad mix that I planted in the garden from seeds. Yum! We will also be making saffron rice (I got the spices a few weeks ago).
I hope everyone's Easter has been as blessed as mine! And if not, there will always be next year!
Take care! xoxo
