How is everyone!? Hope it's all good news!!
Jeff and I flew over to Kauai last month (just the 2 of us), drove over to the nearest beach, where we met up with a pastor (referred to from a pastor here), and got married!!!!!!
We are still having a formal wedding with reception on Dec 29th... we wanted to get married and have our honeymoon while he still had some vacation time off because he won't get it off again for a long time... And then in Dec when all our family and friends fly in, we will be very busy entertaining THEM.... who will have time for a honeymoon then? So we decided this way was best! :) Btw, if any of you awesome people here are interested in joining the festivities in Dec let me know (PM me your full name and adrs so I can send you an invitation). Mmm kay?
Jeff and I have come to a decision that we want to move to Kauai... at 1st mom (who lives with us) wanted to stay here on Oahu, but the more we talk about Kauai, the more she is changing her mind. She wanted to stay because she feared change... well, hello... us leaving you behind is an even bigger change! And she loves her church so much. But there are plenty of other churches over there. And besides... this community is no longer dependable anymore. It has deteriorated so bad over the last few years it's scary. I don't want my mom to be stuck in it. Her health wont tolerate it. She got some ulcerated wounds on her ankles that won't heal (keep getting infected) and when problems like the neighbor hood trash isn't getting picked up happens, that's unsanitary for her. So we told her she should come with us.
Have I told you that I LOVE being married to Jeff? He is the most awesome husband anyone could ever ask for! Such a sweet man.... Anytime there is an issue, he just calmly talks it over with me, holds my hands, kisses them, puts his arms around me.... (sigh).... He tells me he loves me multiple times a day! It's soooo different than that last relationship with M! All we did was fight all the time. Did I mention that Jeff read a book I gave him about fibromyalgia? He is so patient. Wow.... thank you God for such a sweet husband!
Anyways.... I can't wait to see what the future holds!
