Went to the meeting at Oahu Veterans Center yseterday. I thought it was supposed to be Friday, but it was actually yesterday (Sat). I presented the idea of my group and what the goal and mission of the group is, and I passed out my flayers. Everyone that was present was each a president of some kind of organization, so the word of my group will reach good ears! I also picked up some business cards from those "important" people. Net working is always important when giving and recieving information in this situation. Saturday was a suck day: Due to the jelly fish influx this weekend, we all made plans to go up to Waimea Falls to swim since it's up in the valley where no jelly fish can go. We all get up there just to find out that the falls is closed to swimming because the water level is too low. So i'm pissed cuz it was a long drive for everyone just for us to turn around and go back. Jen came up with the idea that we all go to her house since they have a pool. So we get there and it's dark gray like it's about to pour cats and dogs! So then I get even more pissed off. Jen asked me if I was still going to get in the pool. i told her I will cuz every other option to go swimming seems to be a dead end. MAtthew jumped right in like he couldn't wait. After swimming we went to Block buster and picked up a few movies. We also picked up a pan of pasta from Pizza hut for dinner. For some reason after we ate and showered and all that stuff, I ended up with a spitting head ache. Felt like my head wanted to crack open. And since pain pills don't really help but narcs, I decided to just bare with it as usual and lay down. After watching one of the rented movies, I decided it was time to sleep off the head ache.Matt woke up early this morning and had to report for duty. Today...Jelly fish are still around my side of the island, so the beach is a no go. So far I'm just relaxing while trying to figure out what to do next that won't require too much energy. God bless everyone and hope your weekends were great!
