Yesterday (jun 1st) was mom's 60th birthday! Matthew and I over the weekend went card shopping for her, got her some leis, and a few gifts. So the day of her Bday, we (Bill & Gaile, Matt , mom, & I) all went to sharks cove to have a swim since the tide was pretty high. Not much fish around but some huge ones! We had a ball! The water was very clear blue and deep. Very refreshing, too. The only bad part was that the camera was dead again, so we couldn't get and pics. Sorry!When we got home, I grilled some ceaser chicken. Love that grill! And a big fat juicey steak for Matt. The chicken was tender and squirting juices out every time I cut into it mmmm! We had some potato salad and corn with it. The second tray I was bringing in from the grill, I had a mishap and slipped and fell. The platter of chicken went flying and chicken pieces and jiuce was everywhere on the floor. But everyone loved the chicken so much, that they washed em all off and asked me to regrill them cuz they wanted to eat em anyways. LOL! I took that as a major complement! Wow my cooking must be the bomb if they still wanna eat it off the floor! LOL! Well it's VA Monday... and you know what that means... I gotta go to the VA again, blahh! At least I had last week off and didn't go at all, thanks to the holiday weekend it was closed. But that pretty much cancled out all VA activity for the week (thank God).
