I feel horrible today, i'm so sore. I was at the VA again all day yesterday and I hate being there ALL day! Thank God MAtthew was there for most of the day by my side up until the last appt. He had to go back to base for his college class so he couldn't stay. Over the weekend, we had some more long talks about each other's attitudes and ironed out some more issuses. I told him how I hate his hateful attitude and that it doesn't help me or him. He told me how he hates my anger and we talked about strategies to help each other. When I was at the VA with MAtthew, he was very supportive and loving towards me. I really think that we will work. We have made so much progress on our communication, it's not perfect but we are trying. I do see a future for us. Some good things in life you just have to keep working at and not give up on. Yesterday's last appt was for me to get an IUD put in. I haven't had any kids yet so putting it in REALLY hurt! I was SO sore when I came home, all I could do is lay down. But I'm so sick of switching birth control methods! You see, I have fibro cystic breast diseas and I get these VERY PAINFUL cysts and if I allow myself to have a period every month like regular women, they become so severly painful. The less periods I have, the less and smaller cysts I have to endure. So the birth control methods have to be used differently than their regular use, therefore I am exposed to more estergen than what they are intended for. So, my docs keep switching the methods on me because they said that I have a higher chance of getting blood clotts. At our last appt, she was telling me that I gotta switch again! And I was telling her that they have to come up with a solution to this madness!! I'm sick of it! Then she tells me about the IUD that has hormons in it and it lasts 5 years. And I told her I don't care what you have to do, make it happen. She said that it's usually for people that have had kids and that if I haven't had any yet it will hurt a lot more. I told her I don't care! i'm sick of switching methods! So yesterday I got my wish. Besides, i'm used to pain anyway, what difference is it gonna make?!

Sorry you are in so much pain from the IUD. I\'ve never had one and was able to be on the pill before I had kids, or when I didn\'t want to get pregnant. After my second c-section (both my girls were breach), I had a tubal ligation done. Much easier cuz they were already in there and it wasn\'t an extra procedure. I hope this works for you and the pain ends soon. Feel better :o)

Hello,
I just figgured out why I\'m reading your e-mails so late. They\'re going to the old mail(screwy computer.) Sorry to hear about your pain and the fever, etc. I\'m glad those days are over for me. I\'ve had a hysterectomy after my family.
On TV they\'ve been advertising a new kind of birth control that means you\'ll only have 4 or 5 periods a year. Have you checked into that? I know you\'re sick of trying things, but if the IUD doesn\'t work out, maybe you could ask your doc about it.
