Sunday mom, my bro, couple of mom"s fiends, and I went to the beach. it was pretty awesome! The only gross thing that happened there was these two old shribled women decided to go topless and just bounce there "goodies" around all open to the public. one of the ladies was pretty over weight, so her bouncy goodies were rolling around all over the place! And being that it's Hawaii, nobody here will say anything or make you cover up. So we just had to look the other way. LOL Today, my sweetie met up with me at the VA and joined me for my pain management group. I told them how frustrated I've been with Matthew and that our communication has gone to crap. He told them how stressed out he has been with the military trying to get him ready for another Iraq deployment. So they gave us a good talk about communication and supporting each other. I think that Matthew enjoyed the group session because he was in a pretty good mood afterwards. We decided to eat lunch together before he had to go back to base, so we had some time to talk a bit more. He was very sweet to me and when he hugged me, he held on to me tightly. And when he kissed me good bye after wards, he did in way like he missed me. So I take that as a good sign that he was taking their recomendations seriously. Also Dr. Miyake the psychologist that over looks the group is putting in a referral for Matthew and I for special counseling. I'm very excited about the whole thing and I think that Matt is looking forward to it also!

BTW I love the story about the old ladies. Too funny! It reminds me of the time DH and I went on a boat excursion and there was a short French guy in a speedo who kept walking around the buffet with his hands behind his back. The table was at a weird height and happened to allign perfectly with his little bathing suit. It was enough to make me lose my appetite.

Yol. I\'m so glad I was right. It feels good to be right. I should take up counseling--ha,ha. I knew Matthew was worried about something that had nothing to do with you(altho it could affect you if he sent to Iraq).
I\'m so glad you are both communicating and getting the real issues on the table so you can deal with them. The possibilty of going to war would scare the poop out of anybody. They\'re not being sissies; they\'re only being realistic. Too many of those guys come back with emotional problems just because they had to take another life or see all the carnage around them.
You\'re in a unique position since you\'ve already experienced military life and know what it\'s like and can be really emphathetic.
I hope you\'re shingles are better?

When my sister and I were teenagers, we used to laugh unmerifully at my mom when she got dressed, because she tried to scoop her D\'s in a C cup. She\'d bend way over and scoop em in. The rest of her body left much to be desired. A doctor wrote on her chart that she was mildly obese, and she had an all out hissy fit.
I\'m too conscience of my weight (not anorexic or bulemic), but I weigh myself every day, and if the scale goes up, I cut done the next day or until it\'s back to normal for me.I hate it when my clother are too tight.
