Matthew came over last night. We are doing much better. He had to go back to base for now for some retarded military "games" they like to play.My older brother had surgery yesterday on his shattered collar bone. mom told him the good news about my SSDI aproval and he didn't seem to be happy about it. He told mom that we should get off it and live productive lives. WTF?? What is THAT supposed to mean?! Easy for him to make accusations when he's not in our shoes! I don't know what he's thinking when he says stupid remarks like that. He should try living a more "productive life" when in our situation! Sheesh... it's hot today! I need to go in the ocean and cool down! I'll be treating everyone to dinner tonight at a Thai restaurant up on the north Shore. i'm treating Matthew too.

sorry that your brother was too supportive. it\'s probably hard for him to get it because we don\'t \"look\" sick. it\'s okay though. enjoy your evening out!

I am sorry your brother doesnt see your condition as anything important. Our pain is invisible to most... and it hard to deal with. I hope you are doing great. I hope you enjoy the ocean. :) HUGS!

I don\'t know how anyone could believe someone as spunky as you would chose to be on SSDI. You are the complete opposite of someone who would want to live off the system.

Your brother may be jealous, I think. I\'ll bet if something happened where HE needed it, he\'d jump right in! Although some guys have this male \"pride\" thing that prevents them from getting \"dependent\" on assistance, even when it is needed. I know you are not faking anything; I\'ve seen plenty of fakers in my time and you do not meet any of the criteria! SO...your bro is going to believe whatever he believes. Must be hard on you to hear him say that, sorry he\'s being a butt. Take it easy...Love, Marlena
