had an up and down weekend. The sun was out on Saturday so Matthew and I went to Yokohama Bay to swim. The waves were huge! I was having a ball, but Matthew's not as strong of a swimmer as me. He wears finns and all, and i just have a pair of swimmer's goggles. so, i guess he had some struggling after one of the waves caught his finn and swept it away. the life guard came out to get him and asked if I was ok. I was like, "Of course! I'm havin fun!" He asked if i needed to be brought in, and i told him i was fine, i play around in the big waves all the time. But, i didn't know that Matt was in trouble, we had gotten a bit seperated. so, once we got out of the water, he was pretty pissed off about the fin and embarassed about the life guard coming out to him. that's the second time this season that a guard swam out to him. i told him that if it's that hard for him, we don't have to go in the water when it's rough or we can go to a man made beach where the reaf stops the waves from coming all the way in. he got mad and told me he goes because i go and i have fun with it, so he wants to have fun with me. i asked him how are you having fun if your struggling?! after that we grabbed some lunch and went to a beach park half a block down to eat while whatching the ocean. it was such a beautiful day! i really wanted to go back in the water, but it's no fun if he's not having fun.

Sunday was nice, too. Bill and Gale invited us to meet them at the Makaha Surf beach. They came and picked mom up, and later Matthew and I met up with them. I was dying to get in the water but my period came a day early. crap!! i was so mad! i'm still mad! we went anyway, everyone splashed around in the water but me. i just got my legs wet. Matthew felt bad for me, so he decided we should leave and do other things. so, we did.

Sunday nights is Bible study for Matthew and I. Every Sunday we take turns picking out topics and verses to read together in the Bible. I think it's really cool. it was my turn and i picked to read about faith and what it's defind as. he liked it, we were both happy with it.

This morning sucks. i'm sore all over. it's weird...all the muscles and joints on the left side of my body hurt. but the right side isn't so bad. ...whatever.
