Not feeling too chatty tonight, might not give much advice. While ED not as pressing the last day or so, but weight gain is a big worry.
I write poetry, but tend to get writer's block. The most recent one is from March 2014, if I remember, I'll bring the paper I wrote it on and copy it in here somewhere. The majority of my poetry is from high school, but that's 21 years ago since I graduated. I'm not sure everyone in the ED group was even born when I was in high school. But ED doesn't discriminate, it effects people of all ages.
My acid reflux is giving me fits today. After what I would call a disgusting lunch, I went back to my room where I spend most of my time. I was going to brush my teeth, but I started re-fluxing, so I leaned over the sink and watched white foamy stuff come out of my mouth. The Prilosec XR that I'm taking has removed the acid, but not the reflux itself. That happened about 4 times, then I went back to brushing my teeth. (I've never had to gag myself to get that stuff to come up, it's always come up without "help").
I think I will need to talk to my Internal Med. doc about getting in to see a GI doc. I'm half way there, I have a colonoscopy (my 4th in life, 1st one at 17--22 years ago) on Aug. 20th. I see my IM doc on the 24th of this month.
