I'm going to try and type weally weally cawefully.....Cos I don't want this bloody journal entry to disappear just when I get to the end like the last couple of times!!I feel really bad at the moment.  I was supposed to meet an old friend for tea last night.  She was down here for a wedding and had booked a restaurant for dinner (with her partner too).  I was in so much pain yesterday that I tried to sleep through most of it or was drugged up on pain killers etc.  I tried phoning around to see where they were staying but no luck, so I left a message at the restaurant.  I haven't seen her in years and she lives about 3 hours away so I was really looking forward to catching up.  I feel just awful - she doesn't really know about the FM and I don't think she'd understand.  I should have phoned tonight to apologise, but (excuses I know) I was so tired and in so much pain when I finally got in from work, and then my son turned up and stayed for dinner, it got too late.  I will phone tomorrow night, but I just hate what this bloody disease does to us Well, I'm off to bed in the hope of a better day tomorrow - I have a late meeting I have to go to and take the minutes (boring!!).  At least I get to start a bit late.Pain free wishes to all.Deb

Yes FM is a bugger isn\'t it, pain and tiredness, especially when you work. I find I get home and feel too tired to do anything. Hope you week is going Ok.

I am just catching up on friends journals. I \'m so sorry you missed your friends at dinner. This happens. I\'ve had to miss my daughters school conference last week because I was too ill to leave the house and go down there. My mom picked up her report card for me and the teacher called me at home. I hope that once you got in touch with them and told them it was the pain from FM, that they were understanding. Not everyone is, they think it\'s not that bad and you could have come...but we know different. Well, I\'m going to read your next entry from a day or so ago. Take Care.
