A New Day
Two days from now will be one month since Holly died. I was with her and watched her take her last breath. How I wish this didn't happen - but it did! I have this hopeless feeling that nothing I'm doing has any meaning. Why am I waking up each morning? So that I can have another day of this pain. I get up for my boys to try to add some since of "normal" to their lives - but we are far from normal. It pains me to think of what they are experiencing each day. We need some peace and closure but I know it will take TIME.

My heart aches for you and your boys; such a tragic loss. There are grief counseling groups for children/teens who have lost parents. You might check with the local hospice agency and they can refer you. I\'m sure you are doing all you can to be strong for them - but right now you are overwhelmed. There are other members here who have been left with children, and I\'m sure they will share their experiences with you.
Wishing you peaceful days - Doye
I am so very sorry for your loss. I lost my husband and I received such great support here on the widowed site. I hope you find it helpful to you also. Sharon
