My classes start in a week and a half. I am so excited. A little nervous about getting back in the groove, but I'm more excited than anything. I've been studying a lot for the PCAT lately and I'm surprised at how much it has come back to me.
Work is going well. Still as busy as ever, but I'm handling things much better. I'm going to the doctor next week. I switched to a new primary doc. I am going to ask for a sleep study to be evaluated for sleep apnea or narcolepsy. I get way more sleep (hours-wise) than most everyone I know, but I can hardly stay awake throughout the day. It's really, really embarrassing durign meetings when I nod off. I can't blame it on having a child, because I can remember doing this back in high school or church. My dad has sleep apnea, and I wonder if it's hereditary. My husband has kicked me out of the room because of my snoring before when he needed a good night's sleep. Yep, little ol' me snores like a chainsaw. LOL...
So, I'm hoping that I can get diagnosed and start receiving treatment so I can know how it feels to be "normal" and not constantly exhausted. My dad is supposed to be on CPAP but he can't get used to the mask and the feeling of being cold. I wonder if I woudl be a good candidate for Provigil. I hear that is a wonder drug. Yes, I work a lot, but I stop at a certain point and relax too. I realize that I can't do it all in one day and I don't even try.
I'm going to be on this site less and less because of school and studying, but I am so grateful to everyone on here who has touched my life and helped me!!!!!!!!!! My head will be on so straight that I will not be able to look sideways this time... LOL :) I will not be caring which band is playing at which bar Wednesday through Saturday nights. Yep, that was the old me. I can say that I haven't set foot in a bar in about 4 years. I do still love to dance, but I'm not really into the club scene in Cali. Maybe it's because I'm married now. Probably so. But also, I'm just over it now. Been there, done that, have the T-shirt.
Love to you all!
