I just got home from a 3 year old birthday party with my son. it was a pirate party and such fun! He had a blast and I had to tear him away kicking and screaming. It is now time for a well-deserved rest - for both of us! LOL

I love to meet new people, but I am not a very good conversationalist. I am always so afraid of saying the wrong thing or embarrassing myself. It's terrible. I get out there and feel taht I am unworthy of making friends. when I know that is so not the case.

My husband is out of town (again). We had a silly argument last night before he left and he didn't even bother to call me last night to say he had made it safely. I won't hear from him until at least tomorrow afternoon because he's doing some sort of snow camping thing this weekend. I told him about an incident that I had yesterday while driving my son to the doctor and it set him off... I was waiting to turn left and the light turned green and stayed green for a while, so I blew my horn one short time at the car in front of me. They went through the light and allowed me to pass them, but a passenger in this car started throwing things at me in my car with my baby in the backseat!!! OMG! I was so scared, and angry! I didn't get a good look at what exactly they were throwing, but the person was a good aim because he hit it 4 times! I wanted to call the police but I was trying to focus on my driving and didn't have time to wait for the police to take my report since we were on our way to a doctor's appointment. It was really scary though. People have no right to throw things at you when you're driving - no matter the situation.

So anyway, my hubby gets mad at me for not calling the police and just started freaking out about what was being thrown. I didn't know. He was so angry and making it like it was my fault. He told me that I had to be more careful and that someone was killed on the freeway near where we live in a road rage type of thing. I asked if he was mad at me and he just said that the whole thing pissed him off. Then he found half a dozen other things to go off on me about. It really sucked. I am so miserable right now. I get so mad at myself that I can stand up for myself any better than I do. why am I so weak?

You are not weak. Forgive me for saying so, but I think it takes a weak man to yell at a woman, when something wasn\'t her fault. Been there, and have 10 t-shirts to prove it. Is he going thru something in his personal life right now, or has he always been like this since you married him..Not trying to pry, I have read alot about abusive relationships, and I just want to help shed some light on the situation.

Your are not weak. Maybe you need to talk to your local domestic violence center in your area. They can be very helpful.

Oh hon...I probably would have done the same thing. You had somewhere you had to be and your son was the first thing on your mind. That in no way makes you weak.
My guess? Your hubby was so mad that someone would do that to you and your son and didn\'t know how to deal with his emotions about it...not an excuse...just a thougt.
Thinking of you...Lily
