Well, I am up now and have had my coffee. I have a fairly busy day today. I have to take some sleeping bags to the cleaners to have them laundered since our whole famiy will be coming to visit next weekend. (keep me in your prayers that I stay sane through that! LOL) No, I'm really looking forward to it because we haven't all been together in quite some time and Peyton will meet some of his cousins that he hasn't met yet. My husband's parents are awesome and I love having them around. It's that EVERYONE will be there is what I'm worried about. I'm sure things will be fine though. but I'm rambling here.
My close friend is having her daughter christened today and my son and I will be going to that, then to her house after for a light lunch. My husband won't go to church (childhood stuff) so I'm kind of sad. He hasn't seen their baby yet and I know they will be hurt if he doesn't come. But he's not in town. He had to go out of town for training for his ski patrol stuff. I just hope there aren't a lot of peanuts/nuts there. There will be a lot of people there and it makes me anxious. I'll just be overprotective mommy and everything will be fine. :) What gets me is that she is allergic to peanuts too, but still she keeps them around. I guess her allergy isn't that severe or something. but she's been dealing with it and many others her whole life so I am sure she knows what she's doing. Yep, I'm rambling again.
I started reading a new book the other day and it's really good. It's called "The Alchemist" by Paulo Coelho. I recommend it to those who haven't read it. It's kind of a modern-day fable. I'm about halfway through. It's about a shepherd in Spain who goes on a trek to Egypt in search of a treasure, but he doesn't know what this treasure is. He meets some interesting people along the way who guide him on his quest but they don't know what the treasure is either. He meets a gypsy, man who calls himself king, and an alchemist. He finds lots of challenges along the way and I think it's a bit about self discovery.

That is a really good book! If you like stories like that you should try \"Candid\" by Voltaire (if you haven\'t already read it:) It\'s more about the what we see as treasure, and what a treasure really is, but I really like it.
