Well, 29 days down, and counting. It's a little scary when I think about the one month mark coming up. I try to keep focusing on the day at hand, and deal with the present urge or craving. I had some hard times this weekend. I'm glad I had gotten on the site someone else had suggested by the American Lung Assoc. They warned about the "threes": three days, three weeks, three months, etc. I went to a quitter friend's house to play games as usual on Friday, but someone had burnt the woods nearby accidentally, and the smell of smoke was EVERYWHERE. I guess I have really relied on the FRESH AIR and BREATHING so much that it really threw me off. Later I went to a bonfire where for the first time I encountered SMOKERS! I remembered what someone (Shevie?) said about watching their faces. They think they're relaxed but their faces show otherwise. I did better there; got up and moved a few times when their secondhand smoke blew in my face. I don't know how ANYONE deals with someone smoking in their house when they are trying to quit! Anyway, still hanging in there. Still tickled, but honestly feeling a bit shaken and shaky right now.

Carrie you done did good! LOL Honestly there are at least 1000 triggers out there and every one you stare at square on and then \"spit on\" gets you that much closer to shedding that \"smoking skin\" and growing a brand new nonsmoking skin. Dang it I am sooooo proud of you
Good for you, carried. Congratulations on your first month of freedom. That totally rocks, just like you! :)
Congratluations! You are doing grrrreat!
Oh Sweetie that is all so honest and real, you have done so incrediable, just amazing. You just hold tight to what you know you want. Triggers will come and they go, thank God! Keep up the great quit and the great you.
