ooh, I had a bad night.  This mouth thing is a pain.  I can't chew gum.I love to chew gum.  A friend brought me dinner, but I bit the side of mymouth 6 times!  I wanted to cry.  The weird thing is, the dentist crownedthe tooth on my left side and I'm to try to chew on the right side only, but the right side has the tooth that was absecced (spelling?) in November andneeds the ROOT CANAL.  Does that make sense?  I hate him, I hate him,I like him as a person, but I hate dentistry.  Good news, didn't smoke.  Knew it wouldn't help.  Went to bed early instead.  Woke up without thealarm today!  (I hate alarms)  Anyway, a little crabby, but still feeling FREE!!!

I\'m sending you a big big hug! I know about root canals and crowned teeth...ouch! Actually not smoking is one of the very best things you can do for your oral health. Feel as crabby and as grumpy as you want my friend, that\'s what I\'m here for! Congrats to you for not smoking, you\'re right...it only makes things worse.

Going to bed early is a GREAT strategy. I did it a lot in the early days of my quit. Sorry to hear about all of this - I had some weird dental stuff in 2007 and you have all my sympathy. Be careful chewing on the right side - teeth that need root canals are sometimes more vulnerable to cracking. I was done in by a crouton, so avoid anything hard on that side until you get the work done and are safely out of the woods. After what I went through, I don\'t even know if I\'d chew gum on a tooth that needs root canal. I hate dentists, too.
