So, I'm kind of down right now. I mean I feel okay, but a little frustrated. I seem to be at a stand still with my illnesses. I have been struggling with insomnia, although, I don't really think it's insomnia, I'm just in so much pain at night that I can't sleep. I have been taking 30 mg of Baclafen before bed to try to ease my lower back and hip pain, didn't help. I had a doctors appointment yesterday, told him what was up, and he said that was waaayyyy to much! Was surprised it wasn't helping so put me on Flexerill instead. We'll see how it works tonight. He raised my Adderall up to 20mg a day, which I am sooooo glad! I've really been struggling with the fatigue. Even after I take an adderall, I could sleep all day! He also asked me, and I guess this is what put me in a funk, if I had a family history of Bi-Polar. I said no. Then he said, "Sheri, I've been treating you for about 4 years, beginning with depression and almost two years with all of this, do you feel like I am doing you any good? Because I don't. I don't feel like I am helping you. That crushed my heart. He has helped me so much. I told him well, now I have a diagnosis for the pain....Fibro, and a diagnosis for the fatigue....CFS. Before, I didn't have that. I now am taking Adderall, without that, I couldn't function. The pain, we're still working on! But the Bi-Polar question threw me for a loop. Do you think he's thinking I'm Bi-Polar? I honestly don't think I am. I struggle with depression, but with Cymbalta, I have never felt better.  So, I guess right now I'm feeling like I have no where to turn, once again. That I will have to deal with all of this on my own, once again. That no one believes me, once again. Now, I am afraid to voice my fears, and pains, and feelings.  So, I will do the Sheri thing and ignore what I am going through. I will keep it to myself. As far as the Neuro goes, the one they were looking into didn't take my insurance, so they are looking into another one. They have agreed with me in NOT sending me back to the first one. Well, that's what's been going on with me. Just a little down, nothing big. Still believing God has some answers for me. When one door closes, another opens. I just hope the blurry visions goes away so I can see the door! LOL! Love everyone!

Please dont feel down and please dont do the ignoring thing. All that will do is make you feel worse in the long run. When I first started having symptoms, and went to the doc, the first thing she did was ask me if I was depressed. I think that is something that they are being taught to ask. Its just a thing now, if they can blame it on you being \"crazy\" its so much easier for them to treat you that way than to figure out whats really wrong. Feel better and rememember that your not alone, the GOD who created the universe is right here with you! :)
Have a great day!

hon.. if you just ignore it ..it will just make it worse...the depression..etc... you have to talk about it.. even if only on here... get it out..write it out...do something... tell your dr. that just because you have pain and are fustrated with your health issues by no means signifys that you are bi-polar...cripes...ask him to buy a current text book for crying out loud.... everyone is allowed to have off days hon even you.... pain is pain...and we all reach our breaking point of putting up with it... it is draining both emotionally and physcially...he needs to see that... tell him to hold off labelling you until you see the new neuro...

hang in there hon... the aswers are just around the cornor...

hugs

I am so sorry that you are feeling frustrated. I care!! I\'m glad that you have all of your DS friends that believe you. We all know first hand what pain is, what frustration is and what feeling like no one believes us is all about. I know that you will agree, I can\'t imagine not having a personal relationship with God and facing the pain! Hugs!

So here you are lifting me up when your dealing with enough yourself!!! What a blessing you are to me. I think your doctor is just frustrated because he cant do more for you. Don\'t \"stop thinking about it\"...you need to pursue it until you get the answers that you need. God is at work and you know that. The Neuro that theywanted to send you to was obviously not the one you were suppose to see. God has a plan Sheri, and you know that, its just sooooo hard waiting! Everyone here believes you, noone questions what you are feeling physically. You know the pain that you are in. Hope you weekend is great and remember I CARE, but most of all GOD cares. Love you. Kim

Okay Sheri, Let me say I have been there and am still there with the unbelief and the doctors over and over and the labels of fibro because they don\'t know. Its going to be okay, God has a plan and when it is over we will look back over it and say ohhhhh thats whyyyyy!!!!

He see\'s the end from the beginning. When Elijah was sent to a widow womans house in the middle of a famine he didn\'t question God. God told him, \"I have commanded a widow woman there to sustain you\". God had told this widow woman who only had a handful of meal and a little oil to sustain him. You know when Elijah arrived that widow told him she was going to make a cake for her and her son and die.
People say she had given up, she hadn\'t given up or God would not have sent him there. The minute you started praying about this sickness and gave it to God it was finished. Then there is no fear. Perfect love, perfect knowledge of God, of Jesus, brings you to a place where there is no fear!

Daniel would never have entered the lions den if he had not known God. the King said, \"Daniel is thy God who you serve continually able to deliver you? O King live forever. My God has sent angels and has shut the mouths that they have not hurt me\". You cannot have holy ghost boldness unless you know God. Daniel would have never entered the lions den if he had not known God. Sherie you know God and you know he is on time and that he shows up! I am writing this for the both of us!
love you

Is your dr a GP or DO? It makes a difference. Also,I wouldn\'t get upset when he suggests bi polar because he\'s not a psychiatrist.Even if that turns out to be so,it\'s treatable-like depression.I\'m praying your new meds stop the pain.HUGS & God bless.
