Sometimes, the hardest thing in life is to be a Christian. It is so hard NOT to fall into temptations and traps of this world. It is our human nature. Satan sets them before us everyday as we rise, and there are so many. We have to remember that he is here to make sure our lives are miserable. . .especially when we see a light at the end of the tunnel. He can not stand to see us happy or serving the Lord. He can not stand to see a new Christian getting closer to God because he knows the closer they get. . .the farther they get from him, he will be unable to use them for his devious plans. We also have to remember that he knows our weaknesses, and he will use them to the best of his abilities. We have to realize that satan does not want us to have a good life, he does not want us to serve the Lord, he does not want us to prosper, he does not want us to feel peace in our hearts. He wants us to suffer, he wants us in hell, here on earth and eventually in hell with him. He hates us, and he is trying with all of his might to destroy us.Let me give you an example.  My husband has a Christian band. It's members are my husband, my brother in law and our nephew, all family, serving the Lord. There is also our drummer. Ever since they have gotten together and are doing God's work, satan has attacked with a vengeance, he is angry! All of these men lived in the world, did worldy things. . .drugs, alcohol, pornography, it was a part of their lives, that is all of satan. Well, he is angry that he has lost some great "influences." When they came to the Lord, they put that lifestyle out of their lives. . .yes they struggled, but here they are today. During all of this time, satan has tempted them with all kinds of worldly things, he had sent a demon to attack them during practice, and it was working. All they did was argue, and fight, disagree, and lost the Holy Spirit in their music. . .until they started rebuking it and praying against it. Finally they recognized it for what it was, and their ministry took off. However, just recently satan has been attacking the wives. Starting with me. . .the whole MS thing, then finding out I have epilepsy. My sister in law has a malformation on her skull and has to have surgery on her head, and my niece may have Lupus or R.A. This has all happened within this year. So now he is attacking the wives, therefore. . .getting to the men. The devil is trying to stop us from reaching out to people who need the Lord, or encouragment, or just prayer. But we keep fighting him every step of the way. We have to learn to see satan's tricks for what they are, and just pray against them, rebuking them everyday. . even before we rise in the morning. He will stop at nothing to destroy our relationship with God. So, I pray for strength, I pray for our Spiritual eyes to be opened. I pray that we can see satan for what he is and what he is trying to do. I rebuke him from entering into to my life and destroying all that I have accomplished in God. I will put on my armour of God, I will be a soldier for my Lord, I will pray for all those who are being attacked by his lies and deceitfulness. Lord give me strength and wisdom to defeat the devil.Give me words of comfort to give to those who are struggling right now.Protect this site from his attack, protect those who are being attacked. AMEN
