Well, I'm afraid I may not get to see a neuro. I found out today that I only am covored by Medi-cal, without blue cross I am unable to see a specialist. Medi-cal will not pay for specialists. I'm going to call the clinic on Monday and see what my options are. Any suggestions? I'm feeling pretty down right now. I've waited 5 months for this appointment, and to not be able to go just adds insult to the injury. So, I'll let you guys know what the clinic says. Say some prayers! Have a great weekend.

well I think you should contact your area department for human services.Were you can find some medical coverage to help with this particular area.

Wow that\'s amazing to me! There is some truely reasons to be grateful to be canadian! I\'m sorry it\'s so tough down here! Even when i get sick and i\'m south of the border the canadian government pays for whatever i have done down here! I\'ll be putting special prayers that something will work it out! I KNOW WHEN I HAD TO HAVE 3 ROOT CANALS ALL AT ONE TIME MY DENTIST LET ME DO A SPECIAL DENTAL CREDIT CARD WHERE THERE IS NO INTEREST UNLESS NOT PAID IN FULL W/IN A YEAR.
I\'M SURE THIS SPECIALIST WON\'T BE $7,000 LIKE MY DENTIST BILL WAS.
WE HAVE DENTAL INSURANCE BUT..........HE DIDN\'T TAKE MINE.

You might try the MS Society (National M.S. Society) but since you don\'t have a diagnosis of MS, that could be a problem.
This health coverage (or lack thereof) is a real sore point with me. I could scream when any elected official makes some point about us being the Richest Nation in the world.
Thanx everyone! Don\'t worry, I am depending on God to see me through this. I know that whatever happens, His will comes first. Maybe the timing is not quite right, or maybe there might be an accident on the freeway while I\'m driving there. . .it\'s out of town and I\'m not real familiar with the territory so I\'m a little nervous anyway! God is in control!!!
Sherie, Try calling around or e-mailing neurologist in the area.Mine has a policy of seeing everyone even if they can\'t pay it all upfront.I made payments when switching from private insurance to Medicaid/Medicare for several months.Praying for you.He will take care of you I know!
Sherie, that is the very best thing to do, depend on the Lord. He will see u thru. My prayer is that He will give u supernatural favor in order to get help with your medical. Don\'t ever say anything negative like that. Remember the Word tell us that \"life & death is in the power of the tongue\"! We must be very carefull what we say, because Satan is always listening. God \"will\" work it out,\"be it according to our faith\". Please know that I am \"always\" praying for u!
