I am so much better today. God will renew my joy, my outlook and my spirit. I love you all so much. . .THANK YOU!
I lift my eyes up to the hills
Where does my strength come from?
My strength comes from the Lord
Maker of Heaven and earth!

Just to let you all know, I\'ve dealt with depression before and have been on anti-depressants. . .I hate them! They make me feel like a Zombie! So I quit taking them and swore I would never take them again, claimed healing from the Lord and gave it to Him. . .but, some where along the way, I took it back. Now here I am, dealing with it again. I have been depressed for 3 weeks now, today I feel better than I have in all this time. I am truly considering meds again. It\'s just hard to admit that I can\'t deal with what God gives me!
My mom has clinical depression and has been on meds for years, and I made a vow to myself to never be like that. . .well, here I am. I\'m going to the doctor this week and will let him know what I\'ve been going through, and I will be a good little patient and do my part. (Didn\'t mean to sound so sarcastic.) I know for me to be able to take care of my family, I need to do this.
My symptoms have not been to bad. . .fatigue, some lhermittes, numbness and a wierd buzzing sensation in my feet, calves and hands and face. I\'ve been very confused lately, forgetting things, not being able to focus, some slurring and slow speech, but other then that, it all good! It seems like theres is no break in the symptoms. . .since this whole thing has started, there has always been something, is that normal, or, typical of MS? Well, I just wanted to catch you all up on my thoughts and questions. Just to let you all know, you have been a great \"lift me up\" it feels so good when I open my journal and hugs and see all that care for me. I can\'t wait to see you all in Heaven and give you a great big real hug! You are truly my brothers and sisters. . .I love you.
I\'ve only been diagnosed since December but have had symptoms since April 06. That doesn\'t qualify me as an expert. But I have some type of symptoms all the time. Never a day that something isn\'t \"buzzing\" or numb or pins and needles. As for dealing with what God gave you...he helped the doctors develop the meds to treat us. Remember the joke about the man trapped on the rooftop during the flood? And he\'s waiting for God to rescue him? Let me know if you don\'t know it.
madlou is right! I was thinking the same thing until I paged down! You have a chemical imbalance which the MS can cause, you shouldn\'t feel ashamed or upset that it can\'t be given to God. I\'ve been on them for the same thing!! MS is depressing enough, add the rest of daily living, & the weight of all you bear, who wouldn\'t have depression?? You are ALRIGHT, just remember that, & how much you ARE loved! Me being one of them, sunshine! Keep smiling!!! Love You!
\"He would not give us a burden too much for us to bear\".I was seriously depressed for years.Major, major depression.I understand that it is an illness, not anything to be ashamed of.The drugs do help get us out of the worst of it.Yes,God has given the drs knowledge to help us.
\"He lifts me UP,so I can see the mountains..\" God bless & comfort you.
You are in my thoughts and prayers! You are very inspirational to me and I should tell you that more. I look forward to your responses to my journal entries, you always make me feel so special. I am sorry you are feeling this way, I wish I could wrap my arms around you and give you a big hug! Littlewing is right, God does not give us more than we can bear. Although sometimes I think He must think I am one tough chick! LOL
Love you!!!!!
Lori
