I went to the doctor today, and I've got a sty in my eye the size of a pinto bean! It's finally broken open and draining. OUCH! Got my b12 injection. . .hope it works. . .(came home and took a nap!) I asked why I haven't gotten a neuro appointment yet so they checked and realized they forgot to send an important paper! So they faxed it to the neuro's office and called them, they said I would have an appointment within the next month! Now, I'm a little apprehensive. . .Why??? I'm afraid he won't believe me, or think I'm faking, or won't find anything. I know this is normal anxiety, but wow!

Well, just wanted to keep you all posted on what's going on, thank you all so much for the prayers, good wishes and hugs. . .you guys just make me smile!!!!

Love to all!
Sheri

Thank goodness your sight wasn\'t affected. Those stys certainly are painful.B12 is a good thing.Naps are better :) Glad you have an upcoming neuro appt.Isn\'t it pretty normal to be anxious about meeting a strange man who wants to look into your mind?( OH,excuse, was thinking of a blind date! lol )
I usually write down all my problems & ?\'s so I don\'t forget anything, then have to remind myself to write down what Dr says so I don\'t forget the minute my foot hits the parking lot.Good luck to you.Prayers for healing for your eye & arm.

Writing down your questions is a good idea. I know I often forget mine while I am there. That is probably why my husband likes to come with me. Even though I tell him no to treat me like \'an old lady!\'.
Hoping your eye feels better soon:)

Okay I agree, write them down and take two of your closest friends, husband, support group. Trust me he won\'t think you are crazy he deals with all kinds of things on a daily basis. Naps are good, no let me rephrase, great. It is so hard to understand that we have to slow down. I am praying for you and hope b12 helps.xxooxxooxxooxxooxxooxxooxxooxxoo

OUCH! Glad you eye is on the way to healing. They forgot to send in your paperwork for a neuro referral??? You\'re kidding, right?? Wow, I\'d have someone\'s job in my back pocket for that one! I hope that your neuro has ears and knows how to use them, I\'m still on the search for one who can understand spoken language without their egos sticking in their ears to garble the sound! Bring questions, history, symtoms, what symptom bothers you the most, and someone to help/support you. Hope it goes well and you get some help! Take care and much luv, Julz :)

Hi Sherie, Glad your eye is better. It is normal to be somewhat intimidated when going to a new dr. Why would they not believe u? Who would fake something like this? I don\'t understand how they could forget to send your appt. Just explain how u feel and what u have been going thru and if he is a sensitive dr, he will care & be sensitive about what u are going thru . Be encouraged. The Lord will be with you every step of the way!! He promised to never leave you alone. Best wishes!
Much Luv,Hugs & prayers!

I\'m sorry to hear the medical field dropped the ball. I have little faith in western medicine anymore and the corporations that run it. But, that\'s just me! I used to be an RN, saw things from the other side and it wasn\'t all pretty. Anyway...glad ur getting better and hope you have a positive neuro experience! have a great weekend!
