We watched "In Pursuit of Happyness" last night! Oh My Gosh! I cried so much! That movie just touched my heart so much. (notice I didn't put an exclamation point there). It made me want to hold my children so close, And just hug Will Smith! What a story and what a life. Very inspiring. Hope you all had or get the chance to watch it. It makes you look at your circumstances so differently. There's a scene where it shows homeless people waiting at a shelter, hoping for a place to sleep, and watching them be turned away broke my heart. I just am so grateful for what I have. . .God has been good to my family. We are so blessed.

I haven\'t seen it yet, but I definitely will now!! Sounds very worthwhile. Thanks for recommending it Sherie! Hope you a having a good day! Love ya, Peg
I too felt moved by the movie. I went on a double date and interestingly, my husband and best male friend cried at the end first, before I did. Just so resilient and the faith he had to persevere has helped me since the movie to reframe my thinking. I too feel very blessed to know that no matter what happens to me, I will continue to have faith. Thank you for bringing up the movie. Peony
I bought this the other week and was very inspired. With all of us here having health problems, we can\'t maybe go the distance the way this man did, however, we CAN do some things and probably nothing w/o a positive attitude. This man could have so easily given up on any given day...but he didn\'t! And he came through it. What a real difference the mind and its attitude can have on our bodies. :)
Can\'t wait to see it I heard it was good and I wanted to see it when it was at the movies too. I went and bought it just haven\'t watched it, maybe tomorrow. Amazing how movies can touch you so much sometimes, I figured this one would be a heart tugger. Last couple I watched have been very heart touching ones, glad to see more of those :-) Facing The Giants and Reign Over Me are ones to make you stop and think as well and feel blessed for what you have. Thanks for the journal and reminding me i need to watch it as we can all use some inspiration, Take care
Haven\'t seen it yet,but intend to.Yes,I thank God for many blessings.
The poor are with us always,& every little bit we can do to help adds up.
Hi Sherie, I love Will Smith I watched him on Director\'s Cut and he is so down to earth and has great admiration for his family. His little boy was awesome in that movie. My teenage son was also touched by that movie. I love when the kids watch movies like that.
