As the dear panteth for the water,
so my soul panteth after Thee.
You alone are my hearts desire,
how I long to worship Thee.
You alone are my strength my shield.
To You alone doth my spirit yeild.
You alone are my hearts desire,
and I long to worship Thee.
so my soul panteth after Thee.
You alone are my hearts desire,
how I long to worship Thee.
You alone are my strength my shield.
To You alone doth my spirit yeild.
You alone are my hearts desire,
and I long to worship Thee.

That is what my girls and I had put on my husband\'s head stone. That was one of his favorite verus...
My church sings that! It was introduced last year.My favorites remain the old hymns, but I appreciate some of the newer ones too.
One of my favorite worship songs. I was given this message in an email, it is a little long but worth the space. I hope it will encourage you like it did me.
Malachi 3:3 says:\"He will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver.\"
The verse puzzeled some women in a Bible study and they wondered what this statement meant about the character and nature of God.One of the women offered to find out the process of refining silver and get back to the group. That week she called a silversmith and asked to watch him wrok. She didn\'t mention anything about the reason for her interest. As she watched the silversmith, he held a piece of silver over the fire and let it heat up. He explained that in refining silver, one needed to hold the silver in the middle of the fire where the flames were hottest as to burn away all the impurities. The woman thought about God holding us in such a hot spot, then she thought again about the verse. She asked the silvermith if it was true that he had to sit there in front of the fire the whole time the silver was being refined. The man answered yes, he not only had to sit there holding the silver but he had to keep his eye on the silver the entire time it was in the fire. If the silver was left a moment too long in the flames, it would be destroyed. The woman was silent for a moment . Then she asked the silversmith, \"How do you know when the silver is fully refined?\" He smiled and answered, \"Oh, that\'s easy---when I see my image in it\". If you are feeling the heat from the fire, remember God has his eye on you and will keep watch over you until His image is seen in you.
I had never heard that before but it touched my heart deeply, I hope it will minister to you in the same manner.
I love that e-mail! I got it too! My favorite part is. . .\"How do you know when the silver is fully refined?\" \"When I see my image it.\" That is so encouraging. I know God see\'s our image. . .you are all so precious to me. . .and to God.
Thank you!
