Hi all, well, I got my b12 injection yesterday(thursday), and started on vitamin D. My doctor was perplexed as to why I have a D-defifiency because we live here in "sunny" california, and I do love the sun. Beats me! He wants me in once a month for an injection for the next 6 months, then we'll recheck my levels, and go from there. Still waiting on a neuro appt. . .but at least it's still in the works.

I guess they rate your b12 on a score between 180 - 7?? and mine was at 266, pretty low, so my husband said it will take awhile for me to feel the affects of the b12, I guess some people feel it right away, but I don't feel any different yet! My doc also said the vitamin D will take away alot of the aches and pains I have! I'm pretty excited about that! I don't know what it feels like to be pain free or fatigue free, I haven't been "that" for years!

It's supposed to be cooling down to the upper 70's next week, that will be so nice! I'm doing okay so far, but it's only the 80's. Last summer I was so sick.

Well just wanted to let you all know how I'm doing, not to many complaints. . .nice for a change!

Love ya all!
Sheri

My mom had salt deficiency and an IV saline drip did not improve it. Her body just could not absorb the salt or sodium. I wonder if your vitiman D deficiency couldn\'t be similar. Anyway, for my mom, a change in medication solved the problem. I\'m also wondering why after all this time and all you are going through, they have not diagnosed MS, yes or no... My \"symptoms\" are mild and I do not want to go through all of that.. And, now for that Jenny, MS was ruled out, but there is something. Anyway, please let me know if they ever come to a conclusion for you. I\'m going to the opthomoligist on Monday. Take care!

Hi Sheri...I am so glad that they started the shots and pray that they do indeed relieve the pain and fatigue! My doc took SIX vials of blood from me on Wednesday, so hopefully he\'s doing vitamin deficiencies as well. Here\'s to \"pain and fatigue free\"!!!!! Michele

I requested the vitamin tests because I read that alot of people with MS have it, also that the injections of b12 really relieves alot to the symptoms! Today, I was fatigued enough to take a nap, had a mild headache. . .been dealing with those all week, and had some hip/leg pain, but I\'m feeling okay. . .tired already! But, this too shall pass! olelady, my body doesn\'t absorb the b12, you\'re right, the D helps to absorb the b12 injection. So can\'t wait for the affects!

I hope the injections help, Sherie! I\'ve heard alot of good things about the B12. I wonder if my levels have ever been tested?? My Dr did say to take 1200mg of D a day at my last visit, plus Omega 3. I already take 600mg of calcium plus D, but he said not enough! I also take a multi plus iron. Told my dtr in law, let\'s get a B supplement as well! We need to kick this MS in the butt, Sherie! With you researching, Mary, Julz, me, all us us, we might figure something out!!! Let\'s all of pray on it too, you know that always helps!!! Here\'s to better & happier pain free days! Love Ya, Peg

Hi Sherie! I have a good feeling about this for you. Without B12, a person get really sick. You were right. Roxanne does get a shot every month. She can tell when it\'s getting close to a shot. She was telling me about her symptoms and they are just like having MS. I can\'t remember if I told you this but last summer when I had an MS attack before I had been diagnosed, I was frustrated so I tried to cure myself. I started taking lots of B complex and coincidentally my attack went away. I was sure that the doc was going to tell me that I had a B12 deficiency but then the MRI came back showing MS. I still think there is a link! I\'m very happy for you. Let us know how you are doing!!!! Love, Susan
