Okay. . .a couple of things. Finally got a call from the doctor office. . .not my doc, but an on-call one. He said I am deficient in b12, which I already suspected by my own research, and deficient in vitamin D. So I finally got some answers! Yeah for Sheri!!! So, I have to go in next week to see my doctor, and probably get a b12 injection. I don't know yet how deficient I am, so we'll see. The vitamin d, well not to sure about that, but from what I have read, it's not as bad as b12-def. I also found out that there has been a referral to a neuro at the University hospital for me, and we're just waiting for approval! Yeah for me again!!! Now I have done some research on b12-def and MS. Some say they are not associated and some say they are. But the more I read, the more I find people with MS have b12-def! And the lesions resemble eachother and so do the symptoms. So, now, there's more questions to be answered! Boo!!! Oh well, i'm just so glad I have part of the answer!

i also have b12defficentcy have to get inj once a month or no energy not sure about vitimin d have to look that up. good luck sherie. paulette
Thank God for some answers finally!!! Injections aren\'t so bad, & will definitely help with energy!! My Dr told me recently to add omega 3, & 1200mg od vitamin D! I already take a multi & calcium + D, 6oomg 2x a day, but he said more D! I\'ve also read D is good for helping ward off MS, for people{kids} possibly at risk for MS. I\'m sure you have too! I\'m sooo glad your appt is in the works. Yeah for you! The Good Lord is at work, hang in there. Love ya, Peg.
Hi Sherie, My future step mother-in law, Roxanne, has a B12 deficiency. Her body can not absorb B12 so she has to replenish it everyday or she gets symptoms similar to MS. I\'m not sure if she gets injections or takes high doses of B vitamins. She has NO symptoms as long as she keeps the B12 levels up. I will see her tomorrow, so I will ask her for more details and let you know. I\'m so......glad that you have some information!! WooHoo!!! Love ya, Susan
good ,good , good. glad you are getting somewhere. keep your chin up.....RoRo~
Thanx guys! Susan, if her body won\'t absorb the b12, she probably gets injections once a month. I heard they give you so much energy and make you feel great! Can\'t wait!!!
I hope those injections get you feeling better soon. That\'s great about the neuro consult. I hope it happens sooner than later.
Hope you get some answers soon Sherie. I\'m also in limbo and have a Dr. apt with a neuro in 3 weeks. The waiting is hard isn\'t it!? I\'ll be waiting right along with you! :)
